Your Ministry Here!
We believe everyone who comes to be a part of Carlson brings talents and gifts with them.  We want to be a place where you can create and lead a ministry of God’s choosing for you.  Our vision is important to us and we look to have ministries that help us grow in the Lord in any of these four areas:  worship, study, service, mission/ministry to neighbor, community and the world.  Please contact Pastor David Mullins at 863-675-0656 or Lay Leader, Jim Sloan at 863-675-0650 if you are interested in starting a new ministry.

Spiritual Growth through Small Groups

While God loves us and accepts us just the way we are, God also loves us too much to leave us the way we are.  So while everyone is welcome, accepted, and loved right where they are, everyone is also encouraged and equipped for the task of spiritual growth.  We use our small group model to engage in discipleship, fellowship, support, accountability and prayer. Small groups are available throughout the week.  If you don’t see one that fits your needs, contact Patty Gruhn at 402-312-6013 and she can help you find a group, or start one of your own!

Carlson’s
children’s ministry cares for children from newborn through 5th grade.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

We have a nursery for newborns with a toddler area to accommodate children through pre-kindergarten age.  We have Sunday School classes for kindergarten through 5th grade.  We also have our Wednesday Night Kids program filled with exciting child-centered worship, crafts and games.  The nursery is open Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings to care for smaller children while parents are in worship and small groups.

You can see the full schedule of Sunday and Wednesday children’s activities under the Worship tab above.

VBS
Carlson Kids Camp is one of our favorite events of the year.  Each summer, our campus is transformed into a week-long Christ filled day camp with lunch served.  This event serves the children from our congregation and the community.

All adults who work with children have had “Child Protection Training” and background checks.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Carlson’s youth ministry serves our middle and high school students.

We meet on Sundays from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.  The evening begins with games, followed by a meal, worship and truths from God’s word that empower students to live for Christ.

Sundays from 4:30 – 6:00 pm, join us for our YOUTH PRAISE JAM.  A time of fellowship with friends and learning to use our gifts to produce worship and praise for God our creator.

Other youth activities have included Universal Studios’ Rock the Universe, Young Life camp at Covenant College in Georgia, ice skating, participating in the annual “See You at the Pole” event, Newsboys concert at Germain Arena, annual Superbowl party and much more.
