“Ways to Give Your Tithes & Offerings”

“But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.” (Matthew 19:14). Can you help as Carlson guides our children to Him? Prayers, volunteers, and your talents could make a world of difference!

Alongside our Youth/Children’s Director Jimmy Williams, our Children’s Assistant Lilly Hahn, and volunteer Sunday School teachers: Mark Lapp and Ngoih Meyering, we still (always) need volunteers to maintain a strong youth/children’s ministry. Can you sign up a few days a year? – Per (FL UM Conference) policy, our nursery should have two (trained) adults supervising. That means we need volunteers in addition to our staff workers!

Children are looking forward to dressing up this Halloween and we’re grateful to church volunteers for planning and holding our event to teach kids to “Let Your Light Shine!” (10/31/20 from 6:30-7:30pm)

As the holidays approach, we look forward to hearing our precious children sing on December 13 at 10:00am service. (Ask office for song list to start practicing at home or in the car!)

What a blessing it has been to see related family growth opportunities too (parenting class taught by Joyce and Tom Conner, and a current “moms” bible study led by Stephanie Williams).

While this year has been… different, the growth, health, and education (spiritual and otherwise) has remained at the front of our minds. We’re thankful for Sunday and Wednesday night programs, and other scheduled events that offer a safe, Christian environment to train up our children in the way they should go.
